Urban and Regional Planners plan and implement infrastructure upgrades to support electric vehicles. They work alongside cities and local governments who may promote electric vehicle usage. They introduce improvements that must be made to municipal electric systems so that public charging stations are available, including determining how many charging stations are necessary and where to put them.
